2002 horses
San Bar Roan - by Mr San Bar King and APHA Lukes April Shower. This gelding is bay roan, with black tail, black points on his ears, black forelock. Good bone, lots of muscle.  We have always called him "Geoffrey", like the Toys R Us giraffe. He now stands 16.0h . Harold uses him as a pony horse for our colts, and has been taking him to the roping pen. He's already solid as a head horse, and also roping heels. Great in the box:ride in, set, and rope-no fuss. Used for all types cattle work-gathering, dragging calves. Hunted off of in Colorado last fall.
Peppy San Sweet - filly by Mr San Bar King. She already measures 16.0h. This beautiful girl would be a great barrel prospect, as well as a roping horse. She is a nice enough mover to go English. Isn't she PRETTY?!
Poco Roan Lynx - bay roan gelding by Mr San Bar King. We call him "Twister" since he was born on a stormy night.  He's used in the roping pen and is making a great head horse. Also ropes heels. This horse is being used to work and catch cattle in the pasture. Very cowy. Good mind and attitude. Great stop, too-he would be a terrific breakaway prospect. Smooth ride. He's also been started on barrels-lots of bend.
Just A Bueno Lynx - bay filly by Mr San Bar King and out of a Docs Lynx/Poco Bueno mare She is not as tall as these other monster horses-good news for a short person like me, stands 15.1h. Started heading steers-pulls right off, and works on the heel end also-very cowy. Also started on barrels and poles.  Would make an great breakaway horse too. Sweet natured, and bred to be a cow horse. A cool, "in-hand" type horse.
All these horses have regular foot work, handling, stand in the wash rack, walker, and load in a trailer. They all have lots of pasture time daily so they can just be a horse. I can't say enough about how smart and willing these young horses are.
